The location of this hostel is fantastic, close to Grand Central Station and other attractions. The room was small but adequate, and I appreciated the friendly staff. However, noise from the pipes and issues with billing and cleanliness detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The staff were always friendly and helpful, recommending a charming boutique nearby and ensuring our stay was pleasant. Housekeeping kept the rooms spotless daily, and the front desk always had a smile on their faces, making us feel welcome.

I recently stayed at Pod 39 for my 30th birthday and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to drop off our bags early and check in ahead of schedule. The free upgrade to a Queen pod was a delightful surprise, and the room, although small, had all the necessary amenities and plenty of storage. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we even had a view of the Empire State Building from our bathroom. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and a delicious deli nearby for breakfast.

This hotel is great value for money! It's located in a safe area in Midtown Manhattan and just a few blocks away from Grand Central station, which makes it perfect for exploring the city. The basic amenities in the rooms are well-maintained, and the staff provides excellent service. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the Empire State Building from the full bedroom, and the rooftop breakfast with a view is unbeatable, even though there are few options and it's not included in the price.
