the location was ideal, allowing us to easily walk to downtown and avoid peak season traffic. the room was impressively clean and had all the amenities we needed. the staff, including Melissa, Kim, and Maureen, were friendly and hospitable throughout our 6-day stay. We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, especially while sitting on the lovely front deck. it was an affordable and charming place to rest after a day of hiking near Acadia National Park.

The shower pressure was fantastic and the room was spotless. Despite staying near a busy highway, the room was quiet and we slept soundly. we highly recommend Island Place for anyone visiting the area.

Great value for the price! This hotel is perfectly located in a quiet street, but still within walking distance to downtown and all the action. The staff is very friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. One of my favorite things was the terrific coffee maker in the room - a perfect way to start your day.

This hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the main tourist section of town. It is within walking distance of downtown, the beach, and Acadia National Park. The staff is helpful and friendly, making the stay enjoyable. The facilities are well-maintained and comfortable.

The hotel may be pricey, which may not be ideal for budget travellers.

Free coffee and tea all day and helpful staff. Conveniently located close to the national park and supermarket. Enjoyed sitting on the porch.

Terrible bed in a corner room that sloped, with a TV too far away to watch. the corner room had no outdoor chairs and was blocked by neighbors when they sat outside, making it difficult to access.

We had a wonderful stay at Island Place! the room was cozy and clean, and the manager, Maurine, greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. the location was perfect, within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room had a brand new feel. We also appreciated the communal coffee room and the convenient shuttle system. for the price, you won't find a better place to stay in town.

Het hotel is gelegen in een rustig deel van de stad, dicht genoeg bij het strand. We konden gemakkelijk naar het strand wandelen en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. De kamer was ruim en het bed was zeer comfortabel. De badkamer was natuurlijk goed onderhouden. Het personeel bood uitstekende service en het ontbijt was heerlijk.

Helaas was het 's nachts erg rumoerig in het hotel. De bar veranderde in een soort discotheek en dit zorgde voor veel geluidsoverlast.
