My husband and I had a late arrival and were so exhausted it felt like we’d just swum across the Columbia River! But the front desk was as inviting as a warm blanket on a cold night, getting us checked in quickly. Our room was clean, with a view that made you feel like royalty—absolutely what we needed after a long drive! We both slept like logs!

My recent stay was quite frustrating. While the hotel grounds were nice, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the common areas. Additionally, I faced issues with the air conditioning in my room. it never got below 71 degrees F and the fan wouldn’t turn off, keeping me awake at night. To top it off, after checking in, I was given keys to a double bed room instead of the king I had booked, forcing me to drag all my luggage to a different room at the end of the corridor.

my stay at the holiday inn richland on the river was quite enjoyable and definitely exceeded my expectations from my previous visit. the room was comfortable and clean, and the river view during breakfast was a lovely touch. the staff were attentive and responsive to my requests, making my stay even more pleasant.

The mini-fridge in the room was noisy, making it hard to sleep peacefully. I also found the decor in the lobby quite uninviting, and the overall feel of the facilities came across as dated, with some areas needing renovation. I had to deal with maintenance issues, such as a toilet that required multiple flushes to clear effectively. Additionally, the breakfast options could use an upgrade in terms of availability and variety—there were times when the buffet felt poorly stocked. The cleanliness of shared areas, including hallways, appeared neglected as well.

This hotel suits me perfectly with its free Wi-Fi, seasonal outdoor pool, and 24-hour reception. I remember how the staff returned my forgotten earphones on my first stay. Always reliable, I can’t wait to return for my business trip!

this hotel was super nice! the staff was really friendly and helped me whenever i needed it. i loved the view of the river, and the pool was really big, perfect for my kids to swim. the breakfast had lots of yummy stuff, especially the bacon, haha. check-in was a breeze with attention to detail, loved the lemon water!

the food prices were kinda high for the quality and it took forever to get my breakfast. also, they were fixing some things up, which was annoying at times.
