The breakfast was delicious and the downstairs area was beautifully decorated. The hot water in the shower was a real plus, especially during the cold weather. Robert, the owner, was informative and engaging during breakfast, offering insights into the history of the mansion.

The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, with Robert going above and beyond to make us feel at home.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, as it is close to everything in downtown Dubuque. We were able to walk to the few shops and restaurants in the area with ease. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided was the best we had on our trip, with a variety of options including fresh cut fruit, egg sandwiches, and pastries. The staff was attentive and friendly, asking us what time we wanted breakfast and having it ready for us. we were impressed with the cleanliness, hotel facilities, breakfast, and staff.

The antique decor is charming and takes you back in time. Our room was comfortable, albeit with some water damage that could easily be fixed. The manager was friendly and attentive, treating us well. Breakfast was exceptional, one of the best in any establishment.
