Almost perfect.

This hotel offers great value for money, with spacious rooms that allow you to spread out and relax. The location, right near the VT campus, is perfect for visiting your student son or daughter. The staff is polite and courteous, providing excellent service. The breakfast is a wonderful addition, with a nice selection of options available. I especially liked the open and comfy lobby, with convenient places to plug in devices.

No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. The location was fantastic, with plenty of nearby places to eat and explore. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk who checked us in. The room was immaculately clean and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's location is perfect for college visiting, as it is almost on the VT campus. The lobby is very nice, open, and comfy, with great placement of tables. The rooms are extremely nice and spacious, with well-equipped kitchen areas. Additionally, the breakfast offered a variety of options, including eggs, sausage.

The only minor issue was a slight miscommunication regarding a checkout extension request.

The location of this hotel is great, it's right next to a plaza with plenty of shops and restaurants. It's close to everything that I needed during my stay. The room was very neat and comfortable, and the bathroom had a unique walk-in/walk-out shower area behind a glass wall. The service at the front desk was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. I also loved the lobby area with its cozy seating and coffee/tea/ice water service.

The shower drain design, which made a noticeable "ping" sound every minute or so.

The pool and outdoor area were great, perfect for relaxing after a long day in the city. The staff was friendly and professional, especially in the mornings during breakfast. The location of the hotel was ideal, being close to campus made it convenient for our activities.

One of the rooms we were assigned was not clean, which was . The night shift workers seemed overwhelmed and stressed, causing some difficulties in resolving the issue.

Conveniently situated near a popular school. Nearby plaza makes dining and shopping easy. Clean and modern facilities with comfortable rooms. Friendly front desk staff made checking in a breeze. Would highly recommend for a quick or extended stay.

Additionally, the proximity to the university campus and nearby stores and restaurants was perfect.

There were a couple of issues that I didn't appreciate. when I asked for a one, hour extension for checkout, I was told I couldn't be helped because I wasn't a Marriott Rewards member.

This hotel is great! It offers amazing value for money, with plenty of space to spread out in the rooms and basic amenities that make for a comfortable stay. The staff are super friendly and pay attention to detail, making you feel very welcome. The location is just perfect - almost on the Virginia Tech campus - with plenty of nearby stores and restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat. And let’s not forget about the breakfast, which is really good and included in the price! I particularly loved the variety of hot and cold items on offer.

The breakfast is a full buffet with a variety of options including eggs, sausage, oatmeal, tortillas, waffles, and the usual cold items. The service and staff are attentive and the basic amenities are well-maintained.

The kitchen in my room was not as nice as the prior stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting our college student at Virginia Tech, with nearby stores and restaurants. we definitely hope to stay at Residence Inn each time we visit Blacksburg.
