we had such a wonderful time at the Riviera! the location was perfect - secluded and away from all the crowds. our room was clean and comfortable, and we loved having our own private porch. the view was absolutely magnificent, especially of the Mackinaw Bridge during the day and night. my son and I even enjoyed a day trip to the island and came back to relax in the heated pool. we'll definitely be coming back!

I recently stayed at a charming motel by the bridge and beach. The room was impeccably clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a box of chocolate kisses on one of the beds - such a sweet touch! Unlike most motel beds, the bed here was firm and didn't cave-in to the center. The location is unbeatable, with a small sand beach and easy access to the lighthouse and fort. The retro vibe of the room, combined with modern amenities, created a unique atmosphere. The view from the balcony and grounds was simply breathtaking. I can't wait to return when the pool opens!

I recently stayed at a charming motor lodge with an unbeatable location. Situated right on the Straits of Mackanaw, it offered stunning bridge views and was within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The rooms, though a bit dated, were exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing great advice on local attractions and dining options. I appreciated staying at a locally owned hotel rather than a chain. You won't be disappointed!

The hotel's location was fantastic, with everything I needed within walking distance. It was right next to the bridge, and I enjoyed taking a leisurely walk along the lake side to watch the sunset. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing could have been better.

We loved the location and semi-updated room with a tiled bathroom. The room was spacious and well thought out. The bedspread gave the place a cottage-y vibe. They also had chairs and a table right outside the door so you can enjoy the view. We enjoyed the heated pool and the view of the Mighty Mac. They provide towels for the pool.

Even though there was no breakfast served, there were plenty of nearby options. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this motel to others.

The location of the motel was absolutely amazing. the view of the nearby bridge was breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. Being so close to the beach was also a major plus. It was just a short walk away from downtown, where we found some great restaurants and gift shops.
