Just stayed in a hotel close to the beach with a great pool. LOVED the friendly staff. The dirty rooms were a letdown. Might consider staying again. Photos are deceiving.

My recent stay allowed me the chance to easily explore the nearby historic sites and attractions. The room was comfy with a lovely balcony overlooking the water. I appreciated the hotel's range of amenities, including the seasonal pool and free WiFi. The friendly staff made me feel welcome, and I even tried my hand at ziplining nearby for some added thrills. a laid-back spot for a well-rounded staycation, even for a busy food critic like myself. Despite some cleanliness issues in the room and building, the kitchenette was a pleasant surprise, and the fast beach access was convenient for families. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was a highlight, adding to our relaxation and family time. Nearby landmarks like the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and Captain Cline's Pirate Ghost Ride provided fun activities for all ages, creating lasting memories.

While the room layout and location were convenient, cleanliness was lacking. Stained towels and beds, broken locks, and musty odors were disappointing. On the upside, having parking included was a nice touch. Staff were friendly, but improvements in maintenance are needed for a more comfortable stay.

Red Roof Plus exceeded our expectations. the renovated property is conveniently located one block from the Oceanfront. the spacious, beach-themed rooms with hardwood floors were a highlight. the amenities, including multiple charging stations and large TVs, added extra comfort. the staff was warm and helpful during check-in, providing snack boxes for the kids. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return.

The hotel's location in a neighborhood with illegal activity was concerning. Witnessing inappropriate behavior on the premises was unsettling.
