As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the close proximity to the beach and Hearst Castle. The helpful front desk clerk made our stay even better. The hotel's price reflects its charming age, and most rooms offer a decent ocean view. The pool area was enjoyable, and the restaurant had a good selection of food.

Additionally, the hotel was comfortable and provided all the necessary amenities for a couple of nights along the Pacific Coast Highway. We loved the location! It was so close to the beach, just a 3-minute walk away. Plus, this hotel is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. The gentlemen who checked us in, Joel and Manny, were extremely patient and friendly.

Good-sized room, comfortable bed, and nice TV with a fridge in the room. Friendly staff who promptly resolved any issues. Plenty of parking available. Lovely area, close to the beach with palm trees in the outside area. Nice extras provided, such as shampoos and soaps. Great location, within walking distance to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was amazing, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We also loved having a mini mart and a restaurant right on the property for convenience. we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

We were moved to a larger room after one night of a moldy smell. The new room was much better. The location was great, right across from the beach. The mini mart was convenient. The kids loved the pool, even though it was supposed to be closed. The staff, including housekeeping and the front desk, were awesome. The bartender, Juan, made delicious drinks and was very friendly. Our housekeeper, Gloria, was accommodating. Joel at the front desk made us feel welcome and at home.

We have been staying at this hotel for years and it is always our go-to choice. The restaurant is convenient and the value for money is unbeatable. The environment is peaceful and family-friendly, with great hospitality service. The rooms are clean and relaxing, with beautiful ocean views. There are plenty of places to take nice walks, and the beach is just a short walk away.

The location of the hotel was great for our Easter road trip along Big Sur. We were able to easily walk to the nearby beach in just 3 minutes, which was a fantastic way to start our mornings. Another positive aspect was the quietness of our room at night, despite the entertainment happening in the restaurant area.

One of the drawbacks was the lack of food options around the hotel. the quality of breakfast and dinner was not up to par, especially for Mediterranean people like us.
