We stayed at a great budget stop off I-66 in a quaint old town. Country Inn had a clean, comfortable room with three beds at a very reasonable price. The staff was friendly and gave us helpful local information. They even turned on the AC for us before we arrived to combat the West Texas heat. Though the room had an older feel, it was still clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, but everything else about our stay was great. We will definitely stay again when traveling through.

The renovation is mind-blowing, seamlessly integrating modern conveniences while preserving the old-school charm. The owners clearly love this place and it shows in every clean and comfortable detail. The fresh towels, working lights, and locks are a super bonus. Plus, the location is so quiet and safe, you'll sleep like a baby.

As a group of friends, we were thrilled with the dog-friendly environment, complete with a dedicated area for our furry companions. The owner/manager's dedication and friendly nature made us feel right at home. The clean and comfortable beds, along with the complimentary bottled water and coffee in the room, were much appreciated.

During our Christmas stay, we loved the cozy atmosphere of this vintage motel. The classic decor and fixtures reminded us of the iconic Route 66 era. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The location was ideal, with easy access to I-40 and within walking distance of the U Drop Inn Cafe and other attractions in Shamrock. Plus, the hot breakfast included a delightful Texas-shaped waffle!

While our stay was enjoyable overall, we did encounter a couple of minor issues. the room's heating system had only two settings - either too warm or too cold.

We had a fantastic stay at a 60s era motel on Route 66. The room was beautifully decorated and had modern amenities such as a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Great value for money! The staff and owners were excellent to deal with, and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel's location is convenient to a great steak house, making it a perfect choice for dining.

The room was extremely clean. The owner was very nice and made us feel at home. The breakfast was outstanding with real eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pastries, and cereals. All of this for a great price of $35 a night. We will always stop here when traveling west. Great host & hostess.

Everything was spot on.

The breakfast is wonderful - hot, a large variety, tasty, plentiful!! The water available in the room is so welcome after a long drive. The room was clean. The extra of our arriving late and the room being warm was so considerate and comfy with the weather being chilly. The welcome smile upon arrival check-in was an added extra that made us feel welcome and wanted - not just another paying customer.
