The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, equipped with large, squishy pillows, perfect for a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the oceanfront view; hearing the waves at night was soothing. the bathroom had some hair left behind. Kitchen supplies were minimal, lacking basic items like spoons. The temperature control worked well, keeping the space comfortable. The noise level was generally low, contributing to a peaceful stay, except for the occasional sound from the pool area. more attention to detail in the bathroom and kitchen supplies would improve the experience.

Just a reliable pick for a short visit in Panama City Beach with value for money. The view is amazing.

Let's start with the positives, the location was absolutely fantastic. It was tucked away from the hustle and bustle, making it a peaceful retreat. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, which definitely added to the overall experience. Now, on to the not-so-great parts. The room I initially booked wasn't the one I was given upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing. The cleanliness of the suite left much to be desired, the floors were pretty dirty, and mold growth in the bathroom was not a pleasant sight. Plus, we had issues with the heating and air conditioning, which made for some uncomfortable nights. One major concern was the maintenance of the property. The wooden walkway to the beach was falling apart, posing a safety hazard. The pool area was not well-maintained, with water quality concerns and unclean pool bathrooms. And let's not forget about the roaches, definitely not something you want to encounter during your stay. Despite these setbacks, I did appreciate the ample counter space in the suite and the friendly interactions with the staff. there are definitely areas that could use improvement, especially in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and room amenities. I would say that Sugar Sands Beachfront has potential, but some serious updates and repairs are needed.

I had an amazing experience with breathtaking ocean views from the balcony, and the beach was so calm and almost private, which was a delightful change from the usual crowded spots, plus the staff was super nice and accommodating, making our stay even better; the room was clean and featured essentials like a stove and refrigerator, but the room size could be improved for larger families.

Location? Excellent. Right by the beach, quiet, especially for late November. Room comfort exceeded expectations. Kids loved the balcony views of the crystal-clear water. the check-in timing is a nuisance—arriving in the morning and waiting until nearly dinner to settle in is ridiculous. The corridors raised concern; they weren’t as clean as pictures suggested. Staff is helpful, addressing card key issues and other maintenance reminders, yet some basic amenities like dish soap were missing. The pool area could use tidiness too. Inconveniences happened—leaky sinks, blocked parking—these shouldn’t overshadow good intentions from the management. A bit of investment in upkeep could transform this experience into something exceptional. The potential is there.
