Enjoyed the beachfront location. Staff was attentive. Room and amenities need improvement. Beautiful view, but cleanliness and comfort fell short. Would not return due to cleanliness issues and outdated facilities.

The balcony views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico were truly stunning, creating a picture-perfect setting for relaxation. However, the highlight of my stay was the delightful poolside drinks and snacks at the Tiki Bar. The friendly staff ensured I felt welcome and served up some of the best frozen drinks I've had in a while. It was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Pier Park and Conservation Park.

The hotel is a bit old, and I noticed that the carpet in some areas was in need of replacing.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Panama City Beach for the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, a 3-day country music festival over Labor Day Weekend. The beachfront location of By The Sea Resorts provided us with ample beach time and a fantastic view, and we were able to catch amazing performances by local bands like True Soul and String Theory. The cozy atmosphere and great music made our evenings truly memorable.

My children wanted more kid-friendly activities.

I keep coming back for a city break. On my first stay, the staff kindly shared local info. The place suits me perfectly: Wi-Fi, pool, kitchen, beach access, and AC. Plus, 24-hour reception, laundry, and no pets. It's my go-to spot.

Sugar Sands Beachfront Hotel, A By the Sea Resort offers a charming, clean, and upgraded room with two queen beds separated by a bathroom and kitchen area. the walkout to the beach is fantastic, providing easy access to the ocean. the hotel gives off a classic motel vibe with modern touches, perfect for a relaxing stay.

The view from my balcony was stunning and peaceful. The staff was very helpful and informative about local attractions. My room was clean and comfortable. I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We could see the beautiful white beach and it was perfect for a romantic escape. The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to local restaurants and attractions, making it convenient for exploring the area. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel had a pool that stayed open late, allowing us to have a relaxing night swim under the stars.

The appearance of the outside of the property was also not up to par, with groundskeeping needing attention and some amenities in need of updating. The need to leave the windows and patio door open to cool the room resulted in cigarette and marijuana smoke entering our room, which was unpleasant.

We loved the location right next to the beach. It was so convenient to step out of the hotel and be on the beautiful white sand. The hotel was also close enough to the beach that we could easily walk there. The receptionist at the front desk was incredibly friendly and provided us with great suggestions for places to visit in this city. Her warm hospitality made us feel like part of the family.

I absolutely LOVED my stay! I spoke to the desk clerk, Ricky several times before actually making the trip. He was just as polite in person as he was over the phone! Staff was great! Beach was great! I loved the beach view from my room. I will definitely be visiting again! The children had a blast!!!
