Great water view and quiet location. Clean rooms with comfortable linens, AC worked fine. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms had ample space with a desk, double nightstands, and extra seating. The patio or balcony was a nice addition to enjoy the view. The rooms also had a fridge, and coffee was available at the nearby Tiki bar. a good value for the price.

No breakfast or microwave available, and the on-site restaurant was pricey. The Tiki bar was closed, and there were some unfriendly encounters with the staff.

I had a fantastic stay at a well-located and clean hotel for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. The view from my room was awesome, and despite the hotel being old, it was well-maintained and had a comfortable bed. The pool was also clean and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!

The value for money at this lodge was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, with the most comfortable queen size beds and great pillows. The location was perfect, close enough to Key West but still quiet. The staff, especially John and Wayne, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, providing great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better would be to include more variety of fresh fruits.

The view of the water from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a more stunning backdrop for our stay. The two queen size beds were incredibly comfortable - we slept like babies each night. The A/C worked like a charm, keeping us cool even during the hot Florida days. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel accepted a discount through Veteran Advantage, making our stay even more affordable. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, recommending some fantastic places to eat in the area. John, the owner, was a wealth of knowledge and had great suggestions for things to do and see. Wayne at the front desk was efficient, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The pool was a great feature and just as lovely as it looked in the pictures. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and friendly place to stay near Key West. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at a laid-back lodge, right on the water with great views. the room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed watching the birds and boats on the Gulf side in the morning. the property also had a tiki bar with water views and the restaurant served excellent food. It was a great location for exploring the lower Keys, close to Key West but still quiet. the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

We loved the convenience of the tiki hut where we could grab a free coffee in the morning. The hotel's own restaurant and tiki bar served delicious food and cocktails at reasonable prices. The peacefulness of Sugarloaf Lodge is priceless. The hotel has an old-time charm, well-kept and clean. The comfortable bed and private balcony made our stay even better. The waterfront view from every room, along with the friendly staff, added to the overall experience. The location is convenient for exploring Key West and other nearby attractions.

We stayed at Sugarloaf Lodge for a few nights while exploring Key West and Bahia Honda State Park. The location was perfect, just a short drive to both destinations. The hotel offers beautiful water views and has its own pier, bar, and restaurant. The room, though dated, was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the clean pool and plenty of free parking. The best part was the abundance of wildlife on the property, from iguanas in the mangroves to fish in the clear water. It was a unique and enjoyable experience.

I stayed at Sugarloaf Lodge for a few days to explore the lower Keys. The location was perfect, right on the water with stunning views of the Gulf side. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved waking up in the morning to watch the birds and boats. The tiki bar on the property offered great water views, and the restaurant had excellent food. The staff, especially Susan at the front desk, were exceptionally friendly. a great spot for a laid-back getaway.
