the check-in process was quick and the staff was helpful. They even made a reservation for us at the hot tub. the room was clean and tidy, just as expected. I especially loved the tile floors, a perfect choice for pets. the bed, although advertised as a queen, was actually a full. it was still comfortable. the microwave and mini fridge were convenient amenities. the lady at the front desk provided excellent customer service and even gave us a coffee maker for our early morning departure. I wish we had more time to enjoy the fire pit and hot tubs, but they looked like a lot of fun. Having an adjoining room was great for grandparents. I would definitely recommend staying at Loyal Duke Lodge in the future!

The location of this lodge is perfect as it is just a mile away from downtown Salida, offering a great view and access to all the attractions in the area. The rooms are clean and the beds are soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

There was an issue with the toilet in one of the rooms, as mentioned in a previous review.

The views from our rooms were breathtaking! We had plenty of space for our family and furry friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were adequate, and there were even boiled eggs! Plus, they had a nice selection of bread and condiments.

The beds were super comfy, perfect for resting after a long day of backpacking. The floors were great for snowy weather. The little couch provided a nice spot to sit and eat or do work. The front desk was efficient, providing our key upon our late arrival. The hot tubs were awesome, especially the outdoor ones during the snowfall. Very friendly staff and a pet-friendly place. The breakfast spread was good with options like bagels, hard boiled eggs, and oatmeal. The hotel also provided bikes for use.

The hotel offered great amenities such as laundry facilities and a back patio/grilling area. the mountain view from the hotel was also a plus. the convenient location of the hotel made it easy to explore the surrounding area.

There were some issues during my stay. the room I stayed in allowed pets, which I wasn't aware of and it affected the furniture and overall cleanliness of the room.

We also enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and the quaint area for an evening bonfire. The continental breakfast provided a good start to our day with a variety of options available. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Jaw-droppingly modern rooms with flat-screen TVs, comfy beds, and soft towels. Super pet-friendly location with convenient pet walk and nearby park. The staff was incredibly friendly and the price was great. The A/C worked like a charm and we enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor hot tubs.

Wake up to a continental breakfast at this lodge, because who doesn't love stale pastries? Salida has so much to offer, like eating at "wonderful" restaurants and enjoying outdoor activities that you can find anywhere else.

Breakfast has all the charm of a gas station convenience store, but don't worry, the stale bread and sugary cereals will keep you going.

Our stay at Loyal Duke Lodge was fantastic. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from downtown Salida. The convenience of being right in front of the town's hot spring was a major plus. The staff did their best to accommodate us and were friendly throughout our stay. Additionally, the room was clean and had comfortable beds with soft mattresses. We also enjoyed having a microwave and a bench seat in the room. The basic grab-and-go breakfast items provided were a nice touch. we had a good value experience and would definitely stay at Loyal Duke Lodge again.

Who needs a clean room anyway? At least I had Wi-Fi and a friendly staff to help me find a somewhat comfortable room. And hey, they even had barbecue facilities on the sun deck!

Oh, just forgot to mention that the room was a bit filthy, the towels weren't replaced, and there was noise everywhere. But who cares about cleanliness and peace and quiet, right?
