There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, making it easy to explore and find a bite to eat. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and a clean bathroom. The service was friendly and accommodating, allowing me to drop off my luggage and check in early. a great base for exploring the area with lots of amenities nearby.

I did notice that the walls were a bit thin, and I could hear some noise from neighboring rooms at times.

While the room had a unique layout, the bathroom was only accessible through one of the bedrooms, which may be inconvenient for larger groups. Additionally, the construction on the sidewalk made it a bit challenging to bring our luggage to the room.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Pete, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, provided great recommendations for local places to eat and the best sites to see. All employees were accommodating and made our experience enjoyable. The room was unexpectedly spacious and well-maintained, exceeding our expectations. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to the Sealife Center and other attractions in the area.

Everything was fantastic

We had a fantastic stay at a great location near the center of town and the free shuttle stop. The owners, a sister/brother team, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They allowed us to drop off our luggage early and provided us with keys so we could check in as soon as we returned from exploring. The cottage accommodations were reminiscent of WWII style and offered plenty of room for our family. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the proximity to the Alaska Sealife Center and the charming Resurrection Art House for our morning coffee.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for four nights during our vacation in Alaska. James, the host, was incredibly friendly and always had a smile on his face. The kitchen was well-equipped and James even let us borrow things like aluminum foil and Tupperware for our day trips. The spacious apartment-style room had everything we needed, and the curtains helped us sleep well. The location was convenient, close to the market-place and restaurants. The owners have been renovating the hotel and doing a great job. We felt welcomed and were sad to leave.
