I recently stayed at Americana Village for a weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel complex itself was beautiful, with a well-maintained pool and grassy areas. They even had a playground for the kids and a dog-friendly garden. The rooms were spacious and clean, with great amenities like a fridge, microwave, and two TVs. The decor perfectly captured the Tahoe feel, and the kitchenette was a game-changer for saving money on meals. it was a little gem of a place that made our stay memorable.

I recently stayed at a hotel in South Lake Tahoe for a girls weekend. The Deluxe Suite was perfect for us, with a comfortable king size bed, sitting area with an additional bed, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The room also had two TVs and a beautiful walk-in shower with dual shower heads. The hotel even allowed us to check in early, which was a nice surprise. We enjoyed using the free bicycles and the continental breakfast had a good variety of options. The property itself was cute, with picnic tables and barbecue pits.

As youngsters, we absolutely loved the extensive range of amenities and facilities available at the hotel. The room was well-designed with separate living and sleeping areas, and the kitchenette was a major highlight. We enjoyed cooking our own meals using the provided mixer/grinder, plates, and silverware. The hotel also had fantastic outdoor options, such as a pool, barbecue grills, and picnic tables. The well-maintained lawns and private beach access added to the overall appeal. Additionally, the availability of bikes, golf clubs, and fishing rods allowed us to indulge in various activities during our stay. The cold breakfast provided added convenience to our mornings.

We felt completely welcome during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They were willing to switch our room when we complained about the noisy neighbors. Additionally, the hotel offered a variety of activities for families, including crafts and tie-dye shirts, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. The pool and sauna were also a highlight for us, especially being able to relax in the outdoor hot tub while it was snowing.

The walls and floors were extremely thin, making it impossible to have a peaceful night's sleep. We could hear our upstairs neighbors stomping around from 1-3am.
