The staff is friendly and attentive, offering great service to guests. The hotel also has a pool and hot tub, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring.

The only drawback is that the music played in the pool and courtyard area is catered more towards a younger crowd. It would be more enjoyable for everyone if there was a mix of music.

The overall experience was cozy and quaint, providing a perfect getaway from the corporate and sterile environments of big hotels. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail that made our stay special. Despite a minor issue with the floor not being mopped, everything else exceeded our expectations. We definitely plan on returning with our family next time to try out a family suite. we highly recommend The Beachwood for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right by the ocean and very close to the attractions. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a pool and hot tub just steps away from the beach. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the staff were extremely helpful and dedicated to making our stay pleasant. Plus, being able to have a leisurely breakfast in the small kitchen was a great way to start our days.

We got great value for our money at The Beachwood. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's location was perfect, right on the beach. The staff treated us exceptionally well, making sure we had everything we needed.

Right on the beach, nice pool and pool bar. Rooms are cool with clean air conditioners. No carpets, a broom is provided. Close to pier and amusement park, but no noise in the room. Safes and white noise makers available. I will return.

The property was impeccably maintained and the rooms were spotless, equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The beachfront location provided breathtaking views of the ocean, and being able to enjoy live bands right on the beach was a fantastic bonus. The nearby nightlife options added to the overall fun and excitement. We also appreciated the convenience of having a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and all the necessary kitchenware in our room. We wish we could have stayed longer to fully soak in the amazing experience. This is now our go-to spot for future visits to Maine!

The location was perfect, just a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. The Beachwood also provided beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and boogie boards for guests. The pool and hot tub were clean and the pool bar was great, serving delicious drinks like an "original" Maitai and a mudslide to die for. The music, lights, and fire pit at night created a delightful atmosphere.

We had an amazing time at this beachside hotel! the room was spacious and clean, and the kitchen area was well-equipped with a stove, full-size refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. the staff at the front desk, especially Bree, were friendly and helpful. the easy beach access was a great bonus, allowing us to take morning walks and even catch a beautiful sunrise. a fantastic experience!

One downside of our stay was the noise from the pool/courtyard area. the music playing there catered more to the younger crowd, and it would have been more enjoyable if there was a mix of music that appealed to everyone.
