We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel in Portland and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The location of this place is absolutely perfect, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to the Max light rail, making it incredibly convenient to explore all that Portland has to offer. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants and downtown amenities within walking distance, ensuring that we had a wide variety of dining and entertainment options right at our doorstep.

We got amazing value for our money at The Benson Curio Collection hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring downtown. The staff treated us like VIPs, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

The breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

I couldn't believe my luck with this hotel! The old school vibe with modern conveniences was perfect. I got a beautiful and large room with comfortable linens that helped me sleep like a baby. The service was extraordinary, starting with the valet and the ease of check-in. The location was awesome and close to popular restaurants and bars. I had a wonderful experience at the Curio Collection.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. This place is located in an excellent area that is near public transportation and plenty of great restaurants. The service throughout my stay was consistently excellent, from the friendly staff members to the amenities offered in the room. I also appreciated the updates they have made to this historic hotel, making it comfortable for modern times.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Everything was spot on.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The lobby was stunning and we were fascinated by the history of the place. The staff were incredibly gracious and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable and clean, with beautiful original crystal light fixtures and moldings on the coffered ceiling. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to everything downtown, including the Powell's bookstore, the Pearl District, and numerous restaurants and shops. We also appreciated the convenience of having a trolley nearby for easy transportation. The valet staff were amazing, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights and felt like we had rubbed the right Genie Lamp! The reception desk employees were so helpful, especially Ms. Jamie. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We even got upgraded when we mentioned our birthdays. The hotel's lobby was stunning, with beautiful woodwork and banisters. We loved the free appetizer coupons and the live music in the evening. Highly recommend staying at this hotel in downtown Portland.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at the Benson truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From the doorman to the concierge to housekeeping to reception to the bartender, every member of the team was helpful, conscientious, and courteous. We were impressed by the beautiful interior design that paid homage to the hotel's rich history. the drinks in the bar were expertly prepared and the location was easily walkable. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and we felt very secure throughout our stay. We highly recommend the Benson and look forward to staying here again when we visit Portland in the future.

I had a fantastic stay at The Benson, Curio Collection. The old-world charm and character of the hotel were impeccable. The lobby and lounge were beautifully adorned with stunning woodwork, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The central location made it convenient to explore all the nearby attractions and restaurants. The spacious and comfortable room provided a relaxing haven during my stay. The six pillows on the seriously comfortable bed were a pleasant surprise. Being able to open the windows and enjoy fresh air was a huge plus. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like slow service during breakfast and some noise from neighboring rooms, my overall experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and charming stay.

I had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was wonderful, as it was perfect for us, close to both downtown and the Pearl District, within walking distance to shops and restaurants and Powells City of Books, and it was quick and easy to get to freeways going in all directions. The parking was great, providing convenience and allowing us to easily explore the area. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, providing excellent service. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities.

The only drawback was that they refused to mail a package for me, so I had to walk 6 blocks to mail it myself, while schlepping my luggage. However, this hotel is highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a great stay at this luxurious hotel! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, from the reception staff to the concierge and the wait staff in the restaurant. The location in downtown was perfect as we were able to walk to all the downtown sites without having to get in our car. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and good quality sheets. The bathroom could use a bit of updating, but overall it was still nice. The hotel also had a restaurant on premises, which was convenient for dining.

The architecture of the building was impressive and added to the overall charm. We also enjoyed the early evening wine tasting and morning coffee offerings.
