I really struggled with the noise. You could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, like toilets flushing and parties going on late at night. It made it impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep. Super frustrating!

Let's start with the positives, the heating and air conditioning in the room worked great, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. I also appreciated the clean rooms and free toiletries provided. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for some evening entertainment, although the channel options were quite limited. there were some areas that definitely need improvement. The coffee provided in the room was stingy, only one packet each of coffee and sugar, which was disappointing. The coffee itself was pretty awful too. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent, while the rooms were generally clean, the maid didn't show up on some days, and we had to specifically ask for more towels. the lack of amenities like a proper breakfast and entertainment options was a letdown. The pool being closed without prior notice was a major disappointment, especially since we were looking forward to using it. The Breakers has its pros and cons.

The location is fantastic, close to shops and a beach. The staff were friendly and helped with parking for our trailer.

It was a bit pricey, but overall, it was acceptable.

Our family stay at the inn was fantastic due to its proximity to the lively Virginia Beach Amusement Park, just a stone's throw away. we loved the complimentary bike hire, perfect for exploring the Adventure Park at the Virginia Aquarium.

My kids wished for a larger children's play area.

The room had a great ocean view and was clean upon arrival. Air conditioning worked well, keeping the environment comfortable. Having a refrigerator was nice, though it was mostly frozen up. Limited towel availability was frustrating; they ran out during our stay. The shower needed updates, and the bathtub faucet leaked, adding to little inconveniences. I appreciated the warmth of the staff in the lobby, but the overall service experience was inconsistent. Hallway temperature was uncomfortable, and the elevator situation felt inadequate. Noise levels were minimal, which allowed for good rest despite some ongoing maintenance issues.

Stupendous oceanfront views from the 7th floor and a comfortable bed made for a beautiful backdrop. The jacuzzi tub, however, was disappointingly tiny, and I encountered bugs common at the beach. The hallways were hot and musty—carpets should definitely go. Staff had mixed attitudes; some were friendly, others, not so much. Cleanliness was a bit uneven, and finding parking felt like a daily chore. Not thrilling that no breakfast was offered, plus a smoking neighbor added an unwanted aroma. The location was superb for exploring nearby restaurants and the boardwalk, but the experience left much to be desired.

Perfect location. the hotel shows its age—hard beds, musty smells, and cobwebs. Maintenance issues included a balcony door that wouldn't latch and poor shower functionality. Housekeeping was lackluster; a clean room should never be optional. The pool wasn’t operational, which was disappointing. While I appreciate the effort of the staff, I expect more in terms of cleanliness and upkeep, especially when paying for a specific experience. A great place for its location, but serious improvements needed in maintenance and cleanliness. Worth considering for future visits while hoping for better conditions.

Great location near beach activities. Staff is super friendly and quick to help. Clean rooms with nice views, spacious bathroom, and a big mini fridge. The balcony is a nice touch. Free bikes for the boardwalk are awesome. Onsite cafe serves delicious breakfast and lunch. The sun loungers by the beach are perfect for relaxing.

The hotel was ideal for exploring as it was just a short stroll to the beach, the famous Virginia Beach boardwalk, and a variety of restaurants which made it super convenient for weekend outings and relaxing strolls; I really appreciated the spacious rooms and comfy beds that allowed for a restful stay, while the cleanliness of the grounds, including the pool area, added to the enjoyable experience, but there could be some improvements in room service responsiveness.
