We had an amazing stay at the Evening Shade River Lodge And Cabins. The location was stunning, right by the river with beautiful views. The cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy, with comfortable furnishings. We loved spending time on the screened-in deck, listening to the sound of the rushing water. The free river tubing was a fantastic bonus that kept the kids entertained. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place.

The value for our money at this lodge was exceptional, with a beautifully decorated room that felt like a home away from home. The location by the river was amazing, with swings, benches, and a fire pit to relax and enjoy the view. The staff were kind and provided exceptional service throughout our stay.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast option better would be the addition of a small coffee maker in the room.

The staff at this charming lodge were some of the best we've encountered in our four years of traveling. The wifi worked flawlessly, and we enjoyed evenings by the firepit down by the river. With everything we needed within a 2-mile radius, including great dining options and Lake Lure, this is an ideal spot for couples seeking tranquility.

We had a fantastic time here in this beautiful venue, right on the river. The location was perfect being outside of the main area. The service provided by the staff was excellent and the room amenities such as the heating, air conditioning and tea/coffee facilities were great. We loved sitting on the patio amidst the garden furniture, admiring the view. The free toiletries were a nice touch, and the flat-screen TV and carpeted floor added to our comfort. This place even had a picnic area/tables and an outdoor dining area that we enjoyed.

That at times the highway was quite noisy, but that is to be expected considering the location by the river. this is a great hotel and we would definitely recommend it to friends.
