I couldn't be happier with my stay at Gallery House. The value for money was excellent - a beautifully decorated and comfortable room with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still easily accessible by subway. The owners, Dana and Mark, were fantastic hosts, always available and willing to go above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

As for breakfast offerings, it could have been improved by offering a wider variety of choices.

The host Mark was very accommodating and responsive. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The location was safe and secure and close to shops and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and had a unique feel to it. The bathrooms and kitchen were newly renovated and fully equipped. The neighborhood was beautiful, with tree-lined streets and preserved row houses. Close proximity to the subway made it easy to explore NYC attractions.

The apartment had everything we needed, including a welcoming bottle of wine and snacks, toiletries in the bathroom, and convenient amenities like a hairdryer. The location was great, with the subway just two blocks away in a peaceful and friendly neighborhood. We also enjoyed the nearby café bar that was recommended to us.

It had stylish and quirky decor, and was equipped with everything we needed. the comfortable double bed and sofa bed were a pleasant surprise. the host, Mark, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He even recommended a fantastic local café bar called the Edge. the neighborhood was peaceful and friendly, with convenient amenities like a drug store, bank, and delis nearby. one of the best places I've stayed in during my frequent visits to the city.

Liked / Best aspects: The warm welcome and great hospitality from the host made us feel right at home. The spacious room had all the amenities we needed, including a microwave, fridge, kettle, and coffee machine. The location of the apartment was ideal, just a short walk from the metro station and close to grocery stores and a commercial center. Plus, the Wi-Fi connection was excellent, which was a bonus.

Disliked / Worst aspects: Although the apartment had great potential and a friendly owner, there were some issues that affected our stay.

The owners of the hotel were really kind and helpful. They provided us with great recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. The place was also very clean, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The local food options close by were a huge plus, as we could easily find delicious meals without having to go too far.

One major downside was that the bathroom was located outside of the room, which was not mentioned in the room description. This was quite inconvenient and gave us more of a hostel feeling rather than a hotel experience.

Mark, the host, was extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions for using the subway and taking a boat ride to see the city. The apartment was well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the nearest metro station and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was quiet and comfortable, making for a peaceful stay. I highly recommend staying at Gallery House.
