Great Lunch in the Tap Room! the bar area was really nice with small tables and a big popcorn machine! We had the fish and chips and fish tacos, both were excellent. Service was good as well.

Cute and Cosy but Room 39 is for earlybirds only! Room was above a coffee shop and we could hear the noise from the coffee making all morning.

I got great value for my money at this cute, cozy hotel. The room was comfortable with soft sheets and good heating. The location by the water was fantastic, and the whole town was gorgeous. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.

The food for breakfast could be improved with some warm options or a variety for low carb diets.

The rooms and bathrooms were small as expected in a period dwelling, but the gorgeous floors and cabinetry with dovetail joints added a nice touch. the super comfortable bed was a bonus. the food at the dining areas was outstanding and we enjoyed the historical items on the walls. the hotel's historical significance was definitely a highlight.

The lack of TV's in the whole Inn was disappointing, especially for those who can't sleep without them. the room amenities were subpar, with only three coat hangers in the tiny closet.

My stay at the Griswold Inn was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was charming and reminiscent of a bygone era, transporting me to a simpler time. I particularly enjoyed the powerful and invigorating shower, which was a pleasant surprise. The Sunday Hunt Breakfast was simply amazing, with a tantalizing buffet offering an array of delectable dishes such as chicken spinach and remarkable scrambled eggs. The live music provided by the elderly gentlemen 5-piece band was the perfect accompaniment to the meal, creating a memorable and enjoyable experience. Although the inn does not have televisions, I found it to be a refreshing change, allowing me to truly disconnect and unwind. While the staff may not have been overly attentive during check-in and check-out, it did not detract from the overall positive experience. The Griswold Inn exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for a unique and charming stay.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated in a charming town. It was the perfect setting for a New Year getaway. the hotel had a beautiful Christmas decor that created a festive atmosphere. We took lots of pictures of the inside, as it was a historic property. the continental breakfast provided by the hotel was great, offering a variety of options to start the day.

The beds in the hotel were quite small, only suitable for one person. It was a bit of a disappointment as we were expecting a more comfortable sleeping arrangement for two adults.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel located in a charming town. The location was ideal, as we were able to easily explore the shops and restaurants on foot. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly, gracious, and offered helpful suggestions for local museums. We particularly enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant and the attentive service provided by the charming waiter. The hotel's live music in the tap room added to the fun and vibrant atmosphere. this hotel exceeded our expectations and made our trip memorable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Griswold Inn Wine Bar and I must say, it was outstanding! The scallop dish I ordered was prepared to perfection - seared and crusty on the outside, and creamy on the inside. The potato cake that accompanied it was equally delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for a truly exceptional meal experience. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant.
