We were disappointed to find our room in the basement without windows, feeling cramped and gloomy. Despite the charming rooftop seating area, the lack of a true rooftop bar was misleading. However, the breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, while the experience had its drawbacks, we found some aspects of Horton Hotel to be pleasant. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel.

Great value for the price. the room was cozy. the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Cons: the hotel breakfast menu could use more variety.

My visit to Horton was for a weekend getaway. Rooftop bar with town and mountain views was lovely. Enjoyed the trendy boutique vibe. the breakfast served was delicious, and the staff, particularly the lady serving, was exceptionally friendly. the recently trained bartender at the inside bar was sweet and did a great job.

The rooftop bar had great views of the city and mountains. the staff was super friendly and nice, making us feel welcome. the location was bang in the middle of downtown, close to shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to App State University too , convenient for exploring!

The room we got was a total bummer , tiny, windowless, and noisy. Lack of storage space made it a hassle to unpack.

Horton was a delightful experience. the breakfast was tasty, and the rooftop area offered stunning views. the lobby and bar decor was fun and inviting, perfect for hanging out. Situated in the heart of the town, we loved the convenient location.

As backpackers, we loved the stunning rooftop area and delicious breakfast. Convenient entry/exit. Fun decor and bar.
