During our city trip, we had the pleasure of staying at a small boutique hotel in the historical Mount Vernon section. the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast and also had a fine restaurant for dinner. the room was tastefully decorated with a working gas fireplace and a comfortable bed made up with the finest linens. the staff were friendly and helpful, and they even provided a car service to take us to nearby restaurants and venues. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. the spa services were not up to par.
