The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of fresh fruits, beverages, and pancakes. the location was convenient as it was close to both the Elgin Scenic rail station and local restaurants. the historical charm of the house, with its well-maintained Victorian decor and antique knickknacks, added to the overall experience.

Some rooms shared a small bathroom located off the kitchen, which was inconvenient. the bedding material was not suitable for warm weather.
