Great value for money! the room was spacious enough for us and had all the necessary amenities like a fridge and microwave. the location was convenient for our needs and the management was very accommodating of our late arrival. We appreciated the warm welcome despite our tardiness.

The walls were quite thin and we could hear our neighbors when they arrived in the middle of the night. the bathroom could use an update, but it was functional with water and towels.

We got excellent value for our money, with a clean and comfortable room at The Place. The location was quiet and had a beautiful bluff overlooking the beach, just a short distance away. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided great conversation.

Breakfast items could use some improvement to offer more variety and options.

Excellent owners and bartender, allowed us to borrow fishing gear and provided basic breakfast. Rooms are basic but encourage outdoor activities. Bar has a friendly atmosphere, occasional food specials.

We were a large group of friends and the rooms were perfect for us. The beds provided privacy and were incredibly comfortable. The amenities like fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were a nice touch.

Our family stayed at this motel for three nights, and we felt really at home. The owners made exquisite dinners for us, helped my wife clean and store the salmon we caught, and kept our fish frozen until we left. The motel is just 50m away from a spectacular view of the glacier mountains across the Cook Inlet. There is also a pristine lake nearby where you can kayak. Highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting AK.

The breakfast provided by the owners was delicious and had a variety of options. The owners and staff were down to earth, friendly, and made us feel like family. The motel had a cozy bar attached, perfect for enjoying a drink after a long day.
