The hotel was a great stopover on my way to Monarch for skiing. The owner warmly greeted me upon arrival and made me feel welcomed. The breakfast was simple but good, and my room was very comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous with beautiful outside seating areas, and the common living room was nicely appointed with a game/card table and plenty of seating. The location was amazing, close to the Main Street area and the Arkansas River for rafting and kayaking. The staff, especially the young man with a beard, was impressive and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. a fantastic place for meeting other travelers and remote workers.
