I recently stayed at Sands By The Sea Motel for a few nights and had a fantastic time. The location by the ocean was perfect and the view was breathtaking. The property itself was amazing, with volleyball nets and outdoor game sets set up on the lawn. The highlight of the stay was definitely the fire pits, where I could relax in front of a cozy fireplace while enjoying the sound of the waves. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with ceiling fans and down comforters. I also appreciated that the hotel is dog-friendly and that there were great dining options nearby.

The bed was amazing, so comfortable! the staff were really friendly and helpful, providing great customer service. the location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the ocean. I loved being able to relax and unwind by the beach.

The walls were a bit thin, so I could hear noise from the neighboring rooms and the constant running motor outside my window was a bit annoying, preventing me from fully enjoying the sound of the ocean. the microwave in my room was broken, but they quickly fixed the issue.

The location of this motel is perfect, with easy access to the beach and a beautiful view behind the hotel. The kids loved the indoor pool, and the fireplaces outside were a nice touch for warming up. The grounds were well-maintained and the landscaping added to the appeal. Low budget but renovated rooms with working wifi made our stay comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Emily at the front desk was very nice during check-in. The location was perfect, close to the beach where we could view the elephant sea lions, and also near Hearst Castle, which offered amazing views around this city. The hotel had a large open area with greenery and outdoor fireplaces, which created a cozy atmosphere. The room was clean and the hotel facilities were great. We also appreciated the convenient parking and the fact that the hotel was between LA and San Fran, making it a convenient stop. The staff, especially Angel, provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel had a fantastic coffee selection.

For the price we paid, the value was excellent. The room was comfortable, well-stocked, and had a lovely bathroom. The hotel's location by the sea was beautiful and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. The staff at the front desk and throughout our stay were pleasant and helpful.

The morning meal could have been better with a wider selection of options.

The hotel has three firepits near the beach where you can sit and chat with other guests around a wood fire, listening to the waves crash on the beach and gaze at the stars. Brilliant experience!

Amazing location near Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals, and Sam Simeon Beach. Excellent staff and clean rooms. Comfortable beds and the sound of the ocean at night. Plenty of space to roam and enjoy the property. Fire pits and outdoor heated pools. Short drive to Hearst Castle.

The room was clean and comfortable with a bed, microwave, and refrigerator. The TV channels were good, and we appreciated the breakfast voucher. Great value for the area.

Located right next to the beach, this place is a beach lover's paradise. You can easily walk down to the shore and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and explore the tide pools. the hotel also offers free access to their outside pool, perfect for a refreshing swim on a sunny day. the hotel's huge lawn area with fire pits is a great spot to gather with friends and family, roast marshmallows, and soak in the beautiful views.

Dislikes and Worst Aspects: It would have been helpful if there had been prior advertising about this inconvenience.

Low budget motel on the beach with renovated rooms and working wifi. Resort amenities at neighboring Cavalier hotel including hot tub, pools, fire pits, and outdoor games. Excellent location close to Hearst Castle, Cambria, and Morro Bay. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower, and large grass area with ocean views. Family-friendly with three pools and activities.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location close to the shore was amazing! I loved being so close to the ocean and being able to enjoy the beautiful beach view from my room. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The hotel facilities were great, with a beautiful lobby and an indoor pool. The parking was easy and convenient. The restaurant nearby was a bonus, making it easy to grab a meal without going too far.

Despite a few minor drawbacks like the small shower enclosure and lack of towel bars in the bathroom, we had a wonderful stay at Sands By The Sea Motel. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable coastal getaway.

The pillows in our room were old and lacking fluff, which made for a slightly uncomfortable sleep. Additionally, there were delays in accessing towels, cups, and coffee due to the lack of daily housekeeping.
