Parking was easy with a private lot available, and the self check-in process made arrival smooth and quick. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service.

Our weekend escape to Truitt was perfect! We were warmly welcomed by Ryan and David and enjoyed their hospitality. the upstairs carriage house room was cozy and full of charming details. the location near the art museum campus was ideal for strolls. the garden area was lovely, and the contactless entry and espresso machine were convenient additions. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was beautifully decorated.

I absolutely loved my stay at this unique hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Nelson-Atkins museum, which was a highlight of my trip. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful mix of fixtures and furnishings. The owners, Ryan and David, were incredibly accommodating and made me feel right at home. The bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing. Although there wasn't a big breakfast platter available, they did provide apples and pastries 24/7. it was a budget-friendly and memorable experience.

The only drawback was the difficulty in moving the curtains and the lack of a light in the hallway. However, the hosts have acknowledged these issues and are working on fixing them for future guests.

Nothing could have been better.

We had an amazing time at this place. The location is perfect as it's close to Nelson Art Museum and the plaza. The service housekeeping was outstanding, and the staff made us feel welcome. We loved the comfortable rooms with terraces and garden furniture. The flat-screen TV and free toiletries were a nice addition. The dining picnic area/tables were also a great touch and we really enjoyed happy hour.

The unique and impeccable decor of the hotel blew me away. Despite the creaky floors, my sound machine helped me sleep soundly. The chocolates were a delightful surprise. I highly recommend this lovely, clean boutique hotel.

During our recent Christmas stay, we appreciated the beautiful historic home. Walking the evening streets was safe and comfortable, and the decor of the house was noteworthy. the lighting, music, and smells contributed to the atmosphere. the room we stayed in was nicely decorated, and the large balcony overlooking the garden was stunning. We also enjoyed the upgraded queen room that was given to us. There was always a place to park, and we were happy with the location close to downtown.

We did experience a disagreeable odor in the room. the house's antique quality was the obvious source.
