We traveled all the way from Uruguay for our daughter's birthday, and it was worth it! The Twelve Oaks was a period house wonder, beautifully decorated for Christmas. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, each with its own unique style. The L'Occitane amenities were a nice touch. The homemade breakfast served in beautiful crockery was delicious. The service was impeccable, and the daily 5:00 p.m. sandwiches were a delightful addition. Covington is a quiet and charming city, perfect for leisurely strolls. The surroundings offered beautiful forests and incredible places to explore. We can't wait to visit again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming southern home, Margaret Mitchell's Ideal Twelve Oaks. The Steel Magnolia Spa Grand Suite provided a luxurious and tranquil retreat, complete with a rain shower and spa tub. The owners, John and Nicole, have done a remarkable job preserving the home's history and creating unique guest rooms. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the opportunity to mingle during the afternoon "Sippin and Nibblin" hour. we had a lovely respite at this beautifully restored inn.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the complimentary champagne and the beautiful pool. the location was also convenient, allowing us to explore the nearby town. the room was cozy and comfortable.

The breakfast options were subpar, and we had to wait a long time for service. we did not feel like the price reflected the quality of our experience.
