We got excellent value for our money with a beautifully decorated and comfy room in a charming 18th-century building. The location was perfect, with lots of restaurants nearby, and the staff treated us with friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

The food for breakfast could have been improved by offering more options or alternatives to accommodate guests with early schedules.

Fun to be in such a well preserved home from Revolutionary times, with 20"-thick local granite walls, creaky original wood plank floors, and an accompanying oak tree that was alive when the Constitution was signed. The cleanliness was excellent, and the hotel facilities were modern and well-maintained. The parking was just adequate, but luckily I managed to find a spot. The location was perfect, nestled in a rural setting but with plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute drive. The breakfast was delicious and the staff, particularly David and Susan, the owners, were welcoming and accommodating.
