Rooms are extremely dated, with inadequate kitchen equipment and possible cleanliness issues!!! It really felt like the decor and upkeep hadn't been prioritized, which dampened the experience!!!

However, the cleanliness left much to be desired—worn furniture and visible dirt made me question the upkeep. I found roaches in the room, which was unsettling, and the rocking toilet was more of a novelty than a necessity. Breakfast options were underwhelming, and the general state of maintenance felt a bit neglected, making the experience feel tired and dated.

absolutley disguisting experience! dead roaches and pee on the toilet seat? really? I expected a comp upgrade for dealing with such filth! and don’t even get me started on the dirty chairs and black floors, it truly made my experience unbearable. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Had a lekker stay! The room was super clean and comfy—made me feel right at home. The owners are such chommies, always making sure we were sorted. Plus, the location near the lake is choice for some fishing or just chilling. Internet was sharp-sharp too!

Just a heads up, the place is a bit dated, but it’s all good for the price!

Consider utilizing the picnic area for a relaxing outdoor meal with family or pets. It adds a nice touch to your stay.

my recent stay at travelodge exceeded my expectations compared to previous visits in okeechobee. the clean and comfortable room made relaxing easy, and the strong internet service was a huge bonus for staying connected. i appreciated the friendly service and the great location right by the highway, perfect for our needs.

the room was really spacious and the air conditioning worked great! the owners are super nice and make sure u feel comfy. also, there’s a lot of parking space and it's really close to lake okeechobee which is cool. the internet worked fine and there’s a picnic area if u wanna chill outside. dog friendly too, which is a plus!

This place has a lot going for it. The kitchenette is quite handy with a standard fridge and the beds are comfy. The soundproofing in the rooms is impressive, making for a restful stay. While the bathroom could use a bit of sprucing up, overall, it was a decent experience.
