Perfectly situated for quick access to attractions and parks

This resort is amazing because it's literally next door to Volcano Bay and just a short 20-minute stroll along a peaceful path to Islands of Adventure which makes exploring the area so enjoyable while also being close to great food options and a massive food court on property that never felt crowded despite the high number of guests and the pools were fantastic offering ample space to relax but the breakfast options weren't the healthiest so that could use some improvement.

Pool was heated and kids had a blast. Food options were decent and the diner had good quality meals.

It wasn't cheap, but that's kinda expected.

We loved every moment spent at the fantastic pool! Our daughter had an absolute blast making s'mores by the fire pit and watching movies at night. The staff, Hannah and Kenrick, made our stay even more enjoyable with their friendly personalities.

Exceptional location. Ideal for Universal parks. Vibrant lobby uplifts your mood. Spacious rooms, especially the family rooms with kitchenettes—worth the extra cost. Children loved the extra amenities and the attentive staff made our son’s birthday special. Multiple food options on-site, with a great dining area and a convenient Starbucks. The pools are well-maintained, and safety is prioritized. some areas need improvement. Long check-in times due to understaffing at the front desk are frustrating. The lazy river was underwhelming, operational only briefly. Disorganization around the pool area led to challenges finding seating. Towel availability at the water park was disappointing. Service from concierge staff needs a friendlier touch. Would consider returning, but with tempered expectations.

Great pools and fun activities, but some rooms need updates and better cleaning.

The retro-themed room had a cheerful color scheme, but it showed signs of wear. The couch had a large tear, and the carpet was ripped in spots. Temperature control was adequate. While the bed was comfortable, cleanliness lacked attention; there was dust in the vents, and the bathroom corners appeared mopped rather than cleaned. I enjoyed the vintage TV, but the coffee provided was subpar, and only plastic utensils were supplied. Noise levels were manageable, but the overall maintenance of the facilities, including broken arcade machines and a closed lazy river, could be significantly improved.

We got stuck in a side building while the pool was closed for repairs, forcing a long walk to the other one. Our room was huge but had issues—broken safe and a shower head ready to fall off. Super frustrating!

Super comfy rooms with a kitchenette, microwave, and flat-screen TV. Nice pools with a lazy river and hot tub. Fitness centre rocked! Food was tasty, and no pressure from staff for tips. Quick bus rides to the parks, always under 5 minutes. Loved the retro vibe and easy access to everything. Great value for families!

The huge lazy river is perfect for relaxation. The vibrant decor and cheerful theme lift your spirits instantly and the staff is super friendly, ready to help with a smile.

The family suites are a trek from everything else.

It was convenient to have the option to freshen up my clothes if needed. The room also had efficient heating and air conditioning, allowing me to adjust the temperature to my liking. I enjoyed having tea and coffee facilities in the room, perfect for a quick morning pick-me-up. The sitting area was comfortable, providing a nice space to relax after a long day of activities. the free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, making it easy to stay connected during my stay. One area that could be improved is the availability of garden furniture. It would have been nice to have a designated outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the free toiletries provided were basic and could be upgraded for a more luxurious feel. I also found the AM/FM alarm clock and flat-screen TV in the room to be quite useful. I personally did not prefer the carpeted floors, as they were challenging to keep clean. Although room service was not available, the option for dry cleaning and housekeeping services was convenient. On the downside, I found the lack of on-site shops or commercial services to be a drawback.
