My recent stay at the Valley River Inn was fantastic. I was in town for a celebration of life and decided to stay at the hotel to spend more time with family. The staff was amazing and polite, setting us up in a room across the hallway from our family, as requested. We were also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade that had a beautiful river view. The location on the river was outstanding, with a convenient bike, run, and walk trail just steps away. I couldn't recommend this hotel more!

The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel had a great location, close to a big shopping centre. The breakfast at Sweetwater was brilliant, although a bit too large for my companions. The staff were very friendly and made the hotel feel more like home. The hotel also accommodated my service animal by giving me a patio, which was very convenient. The facility itself was beautiful and the prices for room service were great.

We got great value for our money with a wonderful view of the river from our cozy and clean room. The location was perfect with easy access to the river path, and the staff treated us friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

The breakfast option could be improved by having the restaurant open earlier for guests checking out, as waiting around for 30 minutes in the lobby for brunch was inconvenient.

Additionally, the hotel's location near a mall, grocery store, and the freeway made it very convenient.

One downside was that the room did not have a refrigerator or microwave, which would have been convenient. Another disappointment was the condition of the hotel.

I really appreciated having a patio and a door for some fresh air. Room service was quick and efficient, and I loved that the bed was lower than most, perfect for us shorter folks. The restaurant had a fantastic view of the river, and dining on the deck near the water was a great experience. The food was delicious, and the maid service was excellent, even providing extra coffee pods. The room itself was spacious, with a balcony and comfortable king-size bed. Plus, the location was convenient, being near the mall and within walking distance of other great dining options.

This hotel is a great value for money with its reasonable prices and excellent amenities. The location of the hotel by the river and on the bike trail provides beautiful scenery for a morning walk. The staff provided perfect breakfast every day and were very attentive to detail.

All was fine during my stay.

I had an amazing experience at this luxury hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my check-in was pleasant, even though the system was down. They provided a voucher for the restaurant, where I had a delicious dinner and drinks while I waited. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious, with an extra set of bedding and blanket in the closet. The toiletries were fantastic, and I even took the lotion home with me because it smelled so great. I felt safe walking the well-lit paths by the river in the middle of the night, as there were security personnel patrolling the area. This is definitely my favorite hotel in the area!

The parking facilities were also a plus, providing a hassle-free experience for guests bringing their own vehicles. Additionally, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, offering assistance whenever needed.

The noise level in the rooms was unbearable, with heavy-footed guests above causing constant disturbance. The cleanliness of the rooms was also subpar, with stained sheets and mold/mildew in the bathroom, making for an unpleasant stay.

The location is great, next to a shopping mall and restaurants. It sits on a lovely river and has a great view from the rooms. However, that is of this hotel.

The housekeeping is disappointing, as found by previous guests, with dirty windows, cobwebs, and unclean sofa beds. The food at the restaurant was great but the service leaves something to be desired.

It was just across the way from a shopping center, which made it super convenient for grabbing essentials or doing some leisurely shopping. The rooms, complete with balconies and very comfortable beds, were a cozy and relaxing retreat. I also appreciated the attention to detail, as the hotel provided all the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The friendly staff and excellent service, from the front desk to the restaurant, made me feel well taken care of. And speaking of the restaurant, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a beautiful view of the river. It was a perfect start to my day!

All in all, everything at this hotel was just fine.
