The hotel's location was fantastic, as it was very close to everything in this city. The wedding venue offered wonderful food, and the hotel staff were fantastic, kind, and helpful. The location was also beautiful and within walking distance of the main street.

We were pleasantly surprised by the charming decor and the helpfulness of the staff. Our room had a lovely view and the front porch was the perfect spot to relax and take in the picturesque scenery. The staff went above and beyond by carrying our suitcase up the stairs for us. The location was also a major plus, as we were able to easily walk to many points of interest in the city.

While the staff was friendly and attentive, we did find it a bit odd that the inn frequently hosts events such as weddings and receptions. It gave the place a slightly different vibe than a traditional B&B.

The continental breakfast was delicious and offered various options including Greek yogurt, cereal, and mini scones. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing exceptional service throughout the stay.

The accommodations were beautiful and full of charm. The beds were comfortable and the hot bath was a wonderful treat after a long drive. The neighborhood was safe and the community park at the end of the road was a bonus. The breakfast, cooked by a friendly chef, was fantastic and the staff was always willing to help.

The small apartment next to the main house was left unlocked all night, which was concerning for safety. The breakfast, while good, was not as creative or unique as I would have expected from such a special venue.

Stayed at this lovely old mansion for a relaxing weekend. Bobby, the innkeeper, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Enjoyed a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast and great coffee. Loved the complimentary wine and cheese at cocktail hour. The spacious room had a nice porch with comfortable wicker chairs. Bed and linens were extremely comfortable. Easy and free nearby parking. Grounds were well-kept and nicely landscaped.

During my stay at the Vandiver Inn, I experienced a chilly room, but fortunately, there was a space heater provided. However, I noticed that the heater was plugged into a power strip, which is a fire hazard. I would suggest inquiring about the room's heating situation beforehand for future stays. Despite this, the contactless entry was well-explained and easy to navigate. The location of the inn is perfect for exploring the town and the charm of the property adds to its appeal. I also appreciated the simple hot breakfast and coffee in the morning, a nice touch to start the day.
