I had a phenomenal stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the coast and surrounded by majestic redwoods. It felt like a private sanctuary, as it was a boutique hotel with very few guests. The room was not only beautiful but also spacious and luxurious, providing a cozy ambiance. I loved that there were multiple pools and jacuzzis available for use, and the gym was excellent, featuring two Peloton bikes. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the daily morning hike on the property was a fantastic way to start the day, offering a peaceful trail through the forest.

Despite the high price, my wife and I were excited to stay at Ventana for our anniversary weekend. We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a suite with a hot tub on the balcony. The morning yoga class was enjoyable and the staff provided great service throughout our stay. The trail down to the camping and glamping area was a nice touch, and we may consider coming back for that experience.

In paradise, Alila Ventana Big Sur offers stunning ocean views from its public areas, situated on the cliffs overlooking the Santa Lucia coastline. The atmosphere feels magical, nestled in the forest. The rooms are luxurious, with spacious bathrooms and impeccable service. Guests are treated like royalty, starting with a wine and cheese tasting upon arrival. The restaurant serves delicious food and breakfast in bed is a delightful experience. The staff is attentive and takes pride in providing exceptional service. The glamping experience is highly recommended, offering a perfect blend of outdoor access and resort amenities.

The noise levels were high, and the bed wasn't comfortable. the bathroom amenities were also disappointing, with poor quality q-tips provided.

We recently stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and the luxurious amenities exceeded our expectations. The spa and wellness center provided us with relaxing massages and rejuvenating body wraps. The outdoor heated swimming pool was perfect for a romantic evening swim. The sun terrace offered breathtaking views and the perfect spot for sun loungers to relax. The restaurant had a specialized menu that caters to different dietary needs while the bar/lounge area provided us with a variety of cocktails.

Although the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, one minor issue was that the service at the restaurant was hindered due to the busy crowd. However, the ambience and delicious food made up for it.
