My partner and I had a fantastic stay at this conveniently located guesthouse near the harbor. The shared bathroom in our spacious room was really convenient. From check-in to check out, everything was perfect. The hostess was helpful and knowledgeable, and the price was great. We didn't do breakfast, but it was nice to have access to the kitchen. Parking wasn't a problem for us, and opening the windows and using the fans made the room comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We were in Newport for a weekend getaway and the location was perfect, being close to the harbor and Wharf's. The shared bathroom was conveniently located right next to our room, and the room itself was incredibly spacious. The open windows and fans provided a comfortable atmosphere, and the hostess was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Additionally, it was very nice that kitchen use was included in the deal. our experience at William Gyles Guesthouse was excellent!

The location of the guesthouse was fantastic, being right off the main street and within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. It made exploring the city very convenient. Additionally, the guesthouse was clean and tidy, and I had full access to the kitchen, which was a great advantage.

One downside was that the bathroom was shared among all the guests, which made it a bit inconvenient, especially when it wasn't properly cleaned and had hair all over it. Additionally, the breakfast offered was very basic, with only cornflakes and coffee available.
