Nice breakfast but pool area smelled bad.

I had a fantastic stay at La Quinta By Wyndham Columbus North! The room was huge and beautifully renovated, complete with a mini-refrigerator and a flat-screen HDTV. I loved how the hotel was pet-friendly, allowing my furry friend to join me. The breakfast area was pleasant, and the hot breakfast offered a variety of choices which made my mornings delightful.

the bed was so terribly uncomfortable, like sleeping on cement bags, it totally ruined my week. breakfast was a daily disappointment, same boring options. i must say, a complimentary welcome gift woudl ve been nice, but zero special treatment for me, just like any other guest! i almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

However, cleanliness is a significant issue here. The pet-friendly policy comes at a cost, with some rooms having unpleasant odors and noise disturbances from other pets. Additionally, there were issues with room servicing, including limited housekeeping, leading to guests having to manage their own clean linens and towels. It’s also noteworthy that guests have experienced frustrating communication and follow-through from management regarding their concerns, impacting the overall stay.

Enjoyed a friendly atmosphere with very welcoming staff , and the breakfast was definitely a highlight of our stay.

Disappointingly , our bathroom cleanliness was lacking with obvious signs of poor upkeep diminishing our experience.

One thing to note is that we did overhear some noisy guests around us during our stay, which was a bit distracting.

We faced several issues that put a damper on our stay. For instance, the bathroom cleanliness was lacking, with some guests reporting dirty linens and visible signs of poor upkeep. There were also claims of noise disturbance from loud guests in the hallway and the pet-friendly policy led to some unpleasant odors in certain rooms. Additionally, requesting extra blankets proved to be a headache with only one blanket allowed per room, leaving some guests chilly.

Man, what a lekker spot! The brekkie was a jol with waffles, and my granddaughter had the most fun at the pool, just splashing around. The rooms were spacious—like, super comfortable. The staff was so friendly, especially a chommie at reception who really made us feel welcome!

The only thing was we had a couple of noisy guests around us, but nothing too hectic.

Wi-Fi was insecure. staff was friendly and helpful. Fitness center was useful, and laundry was convenient.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic because it was only a few steps away from great dining options like Camileaux's Low Country Boil and Wings, and I loved how close I was to the Columbus Botanical Garden, making it perfect for my city strolls and park views. the staff was super friendly and the room was spacious and clean, which made my stay all the more relaxing.
