Lizard in the bathroom was quite a surprise!

I had a wonderful stay at Wingate By Wyndham Houma. The staff were attentive, quickly assisting with my luggage and providing thoughtful recommendations for nearby cafes. The breakfast offered scrambled eggs, sausages, and freshly made waffles, which were delicious. My room was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable.

No pool as advertised.

I had a very pleasant stay at Wingate By Wyndham Houma. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. Tika, Monique, and Thomas always greeted me warmly and made sure all my needs were met. The breakfast included a variety of hot items, which was a delightful treat each morning.

I encountered some issues with the air conditioning unit being noisy.

my 3-night stay at this so-called hotel was absolutely a disaster. the lobby smelled musty, while my room had a bathtub that didn’t drain. and to top it off, i received no upgrade or even a complimentary snack for all my troubles. i almost wrote a good review, but just couldn’t.

Housekeeping should be more thorough. I found the carpets damp!!! The noise insulation is poor, allowing disturbances from neighboring rooms!!!

I loved the location, right near a shopping area with convenient access to restaurants. The room was spacious with a comfortable layout, and the breakfast offered a decent variety. Plus, I enjoyed the afternoon coffee break with freshly baked cinnamon rolls — a real treat during my stay.

It was just an excellent fit for a date night in Houma with value for price. The waffles at breakfast were surprisingly good and a nice treat. Make sure to check ahead for breakfast items as they seemed to run out early.

During my recent stay, I really enjoyed the easy access to lovely spots like the Southdown Museum and Bayou Terrebonne Water Life, both just a short drive away, which made my city strolls even more delightful. I also appreciated the friendly staff who were welcoming and eager to help, making me feel right at home.

wingate offered a comfortable stay with a great outdoor pool and a nice fitness center. the front desk agent went above and beyond to ensure i had breakfast for my early checkout. such attention to customer service really stood out to me.
