I recently stayed at Hotel Plaza Obradoiro for a few nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn't have been better, right in the main plaza opposite the cathedral. The building itself is a beautiful old structure that has been completely renovated. The staff, especially Sandra at reception, were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The room was the best I've had in Santiago de Compostela, even better than the Parador and San Francisco. Thank you, Sandra, for a truly fantastic stay.

I had a truly fantastic stay at the Plaza Obradoiro in Santiago. The property is stunning and the location couldn't be better, just steps away from the Cathedral. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, providing us with great recommendations for dining and sightseeing in the city. Our room had a beautiful view of the plaza and was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and really set us up for the day ahead. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Santiago.

Conveniently located close to the main attractions, the Hotel Plaza Obradoiro provided comfortable rooms with reliable wifi. The staff were helpful and had good suggestions for breakfast alternatives during weekdays in winter.

There was no staff present during check-in, which was done virtually and contactless. This became complicated as there was no wifi available, and I had to use my data to get the door code.

What a fantastic experience to end the Camino! This hotel is situated just off Plaza Obradoiro in front of the Cathedral. Rent their front rooms for a splurge and enjoy the atmosphere of pilgrims arriving. Friendly and helpful staff with a great breakfast in their courtyard. Would happily stay there again when I finish my next Camino.
