Loved the helpful and friendly staff, they made us feel welcomed and were always ready to assist us. The location was great, just a short walk to the subway station which made it easy to explore the city. And the view from our room was amazing, we could see the city skyline and it added a special touch to our romantic escape.

Disliked the limited breakfast options, it was the same every day and got a bit boring after a while. Also, the neighborhood didn't feel very safe, especially at night.

I had an amazing stay at Wingate! It was my first time in NYC and I couldn't have chosen a better hotel. the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the Queensbridge subway and a short 10-minute ride to Midtown Manhattan. the room was spacious and bright, with a great city view from the 14th floor. Everything was clean and tidy, from the rooms to the halls. the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city!

The hotel had friendly staff and the rooms were clean. the location was convenient and close to key attractions. I also enjoyed the fact that the room had a nice view.

The noise level near the hotel was high, making it difficult to relax. the internet connection was unreliable, and the TV choices were limited.

As women traveling alone, we felt totally safe and secure at the hotel. The staff, especially Miss Bella, was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with great lighting and comfortable beds. The hotel had excellent amenities, including a safe box, clean towels, and a minibar. The breakfast, while not extensive, was sufficient for our needs during our 11-day stay.

The hotel's location is perfect, as it is very close to the train station and the next metro station is only a 5 minute walk away. It is really convenient to get to Manhattan from here. I recently stayed at Wingate in Long Island City for a few nights. The hotel staff was kind and helpful, and the modern and clean rooms were a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location is convenient, being only a 5-minute walk from the metro station. It made exploring downtown and uptown Manhattan in under 30 minutes a breeze. Additionally, the affordable overnight parking was a welcome bonus.

We stayed during Christmas break and what we liked the most were the complimentary apples and water always available - great for a snack! the location was very convenient as it was walking distance to the subway which had a direct line to Manhattan; perfect for those who want to explore the city. Finally, one of the best aspects of our stay was the comfortable bed, perfect for getting a good night's rest after a busy day.

The breakfast was a letdown. It was okay for the first few days, but the single-use packaging for the marmalade and peanut butter and disposable coffee cups generated way too much waste.
