Exceptional Staff and Ideal Location

The convenient location near historic landmarks allowed us to easily explore the city. However, improvements could be made in terms of room cleanliness and maintenance, as well as in communicating parking costs clearly to guests.

The room at Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District was extremely comfortable and clean, with all the usual services you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. The sofa bed was a great addition, allowing for an extra two-person accommodation, and the mini-refrigerator and dining table in the suite were very convenient for our stay.

It was a bit disappointing to find ourselves in a shabby and run-down room, which definitely affected the overall experience.

However, the location was prime, just a short walk from historical landmarks. The staff's friendly and efficient service stood out, as they were always ready to assist with a smile. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided by the hotel, such as the well-equipped gym.

The bathroom tub was not very appealing, as it was peeling and looked unappealing.

I stayed at Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District for transit during my travel, and the convenience of being just 20 km away from Philadelphia International Airport made my stay incredibly convenient. The hotel's close proximity to historical attractions such as the Betsy Ross House and the National Museum of American Jewish History provided a great opportunity to explore the city during my short visit.

During my stay, the rooftop pool was not open, which was a minor disappointment. a disturbance from a neighboring room caused some inconvenience, as the situation was slow to be addressed by both the security team and the front desk staff.

Despite some minor inconveniences like having to retrieve room service myself and long check-in lines, I had a very good experience at this centrally-located hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the bed was spacious and comfortable, and the room was well-equipped for a pleasant stay.

Room was super clean and had a microwave and fridge, which was clutch. the location is prime - literally a quick hop to Philly's main attractions and bus stations. Although the staff had a bit of a mix-up during check-in, they fixed it swiftly, which was cool. Would def hit up this spot again for the location alone! 🌆

The staff at this hotel were all super friendly and held a few things in their fridge for us, which was a really nice touch. They were consistently going above and beyond for the guest's benefit, from giving helpful directions to recommending great spots to visit downtown. the location was excellent for walkabouts and perfect for exploring the historic parts of Philadelphia - an easy walk from everything. It's fantastic being close to both tourist sites and some good restaurants.

One thing that could be improved at this hotel is the bedding. It seemed a bit worn out and could use a refresh to make the rooms feel more updated and cozy for guests.

Okay, so the walls are as thin as Philly cheesesteak slices—but hey, that crying baby next door got you a room upgrade. Even the leaky faucet couldn't dim the sparkle of your foodie adventure!

I keep coming back for the helpful staff and perfect amenities like free Wi-Fi, rooftop pool, and 24-hour security. The first stay, they kindly assisted with my suitcases. Suitable for a romantic escape.

We had a fantastic stay at Wyndham's in the historic district. We booked early and were pleasantly surprised when the rate dropped twice, allowing us to save over $200! The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to all the historic sites. The customer service was exceptional - our room was quickly switched when we encountered smoke odor, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The attached parking garage was convenient, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. The comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower, and efficient A/C made for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

wyndham exceeded my expectations during valentine's day stay in philadelphia. from the friendly and helpful staff to the convenient location near historic sites, it was a great experience. the hotel had a nice ambiance and the restaurant, while a bit overpriced, was decent. parking was secure and check-in/out process was easy.

Housekeeping missed my room on the first morning.
