The hotel is absolutely stunning, housed in a gorgeous converted Islamic school with lots of character and history. The location is perfect, just outside the city's wall and a few minutes walk to the East Gate of the old town. The staff, particularly the owner brothers Umrbek and Nadir, are incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. They even offered a day trip to see the fortresses in the desert, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. The breakfast, though simple, is still tasty and offers a few options. The price is also very reasonable for the high quality of the hotel.

One downside is that the wifi didn't reach all areas of the hotel, only working in the reception area. Additionally, like some other travelers, I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and there was no tea or water provided, and the hotel didn't seem very interested in accommodating my needs until the cafes opened at 9 am.

They even organized a day-trip to the old Khawrezm fortresses for us. The breakfast, while simple, was always good and offered slight variations each morning. Despite some minor drawbacks like the hard bed and lack of additional room amenities, it's safe to say that Madrasah Polvon-Qori Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly unique and memorable stay in Khiva.

We loved the location, just a minute away from the Eastern entrance to the old city. The owners were incredibly helpful and even arranged a day-trip for us to explore the Khawrezm fortresses. Their English was perfect and they made us feel so welcome. The former madrasah was beautifully decorated and had a charming atmosphere.

The location was perfect as it allowed me to easily explore the historic area while also being away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The room I stayed in was spacious and beautifully decorated with local touches. The bathroom was modern and clean. The service provided by the friendly owners was top-notch and they went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast they served was delicious and included a variety of local delicacies. The hotel also offered organized day trips to nearby fortresses, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. my experience at this hotel was enjoyable and I would highly recommend it to others.

The only downside I encountered during my stay was the limited space in the room for my suitcase. However, this minor inconvenience was quickly resolved when the staff offered me an alternative arrangement with taxi service.

A hidden gem in Uzbekistan! the historic building has been restored with care, creating a unique experience. the rooms are beautifully decorated and the inner garden is peaceful and quiet. the hotel staff is attentive and helpful, arranging airport transfers and ordering delicious food. the location is unbeatable, just steps away from the city center.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They helped us switch to the room we wanted, provided telescope stargazing, and assisted with warming up our food. The rooms had great heating options and the minaret and madrassa added charm to our stay. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, with a wide variety of delicious options.
