I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in the heart of Saigon and I cannot fault it! From the moment I arrived at the airport, the staff at Ben Thanh Retreats Hotel went above and beyond to make my stay amazing. Yen, in particular, was a godsend. She organized a SIM card, recommended restaurants and things to do, and even helped me set up the Grab app on my phone. The rooms were modern and comfortable, with great air conditioning. The location was perfect, within walking distance of Ben Thanh Market and the museums, yet tucked away in a quiet laneway. The beds were super comfy and the overall experience was outstanding. I can't thank Yen and the hotel enough for their hospitality. I will definitely be back!

hard to find the location at first

The room was massive and super cozy, perfect for a squad of friends like ours. We had a blast at Dam Sen Water Park, it was wild! And the Saigon Zoo and Botanic Garden was a total adventure. The staff was seriously the coolest, they made us feel like VIPs the whole time. We partied hard and they were always up for a good time!

If there's one thing we could've asked for, it's maybe a bit more nightlife options near the hotel. We love to party and have a good time, so having some more happening places nearby would've been awesome.

I recently stayed at Ben Thanh Retreats for 6 days and it was perfect. The hotel is located in a quiet alley, but still close to shops, food, and attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and focused on providing excellent customer service. They even offered a free cooked-to-order breakfast and occasional free beer. The rooms were spacious and well-renovated, with comfortable beds and fresh fluffy towels. It felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

the location of the hotel is perfect – right in the heart of District 1, just a short walk away from the best bars, shops, restaurants, and sights in the city. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet side street, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay. the rooms themselves are of excellent quality, with spacious and comfortable beds, and large, well-equipped bathrooms. the owners, Ms Yen and Mr Slave, truly made our visit special. Their warm hospitality and excellent English made us feel right at home. We enjoyed spending time with them in the cozy patio area, where we chatted about the city and their lives. They even invited us to cook some of our favorite dishes together, a truly memorable experience. the extra touches, like complimentary laundry service and nightly treats, made us feel truly taken care of. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our group of friends absolutely loved the facilities and amenities at this hotel. The big and clean rooms, the excellent breakfast with homemade omelette and banana cake, and the amazing hospitality offered by Jap, the hotel manager, were definite highlights. The location was also great, being very quiet yet close to everything.

From the warm welcome drinks to amazing homemade breakfast, he went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. The helpful staff, laundry service, and daily custodial service were all exceptional. Highly recommended!
