The communication before our arrival was great and the staff were helpful in providing tips and directions. the unlimited free coffee all day was a treat, better than many cafes I've been to. the hostel was a great place to meet new people and the common areas were a nice area to hang out in.

The private rooms were located right next to the common areas and kitchen, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the kitchen was often busy in the mornings and people were quite greedy, making it hard to prepare breakfast.

Big, clean hostel with well-equipped kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. Friendly atmosphere, with cats and dogs. Simple, comfortable rooms with lockers. Unlimited pancakes for breakfast. Good option for Panama City stay.

I stayed at Mamallena for a few days during my trip to Panama. The building itself is beautiful and the art throughout adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The free breakfast was a nice perk, and although the bed was just okay, it was comfortable enough. One of the best things about Mamallena is the convenience of having a tour agency for San Blás right inside the hostel. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The free pancakes and coffee were a definite bonus. a great stay for the price!

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Panama City for 3 nights. The hotel had a fantastic pool and bar, complete with billiards and table tennis. I loved the cheap and delicious cocktails they served. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The dorms were spacious and had great air conditioning. The location was convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the city center. And the breakfast was amazing, with perfect pancakes and bananas.

The hostel is conveniently located near the bus terminal and airport, making it easy to get around. The dorms were spacious enough with plugs, lockers, and reading lamps at each bed. The bathroom was clean and even had toilet paper. I loved the fridge, kitchen, and the delicious pancake breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and allowed me to leave my luggage while I explored the neighborhood with a smaller bag.
