The breakfast Pho had less salt than a teaspoon of water, but the bed was comfier than a cloud in a cartoon. the staff made me feel like royalty, and the price was as delightful as finding extra fries at the bottom of the bag.

I recently stayed at a modern hostel in Vietnam and had a fantastic experience at Catba Buffalo. The hostel had everything I needed, including great food with a mix of Western and Vietnamese options. The highlight of my stay was the relatively cheap tour around beautiful Lan Ha, guided by the fantastic T. The hostel itself was new and well-facilitated, with clean rooms and private bathrooms. The common areas were well-designed, with a swimming pool, bar, and breakfast areas. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the trees and books in the waiting/sitting seats. The staff was friendly and professional, making my stay even better.

cat ba island was an amazing experience, but catba buffalo took it to the next level. the vibe was perfect for young backpackers, with fun activities and day tours. my single private room on the top floor was comfortable and quiet. the one hour of free beer was a great touch to keep everyone happy.

The dorm rooms were mind-blowingly comfortable and clean, with big beautiful bathrooms and a jaw-dropping view from the little balcony! The food was super delicious and renting a scooter to explore the city was a breeze. The laundry service was top-notch and the pool had a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a day of chilling. The staff was really nice too, creating a great party vibe with pub crawls every night. Plus, the free beer and awesome facilities like free Wi-Fi, free parking, a cool bar/lounge area, flat-screen TV. Oh, and no pets allowed. Highly recommend this place!
