drift backpackers hostel exceeded my expectations during this recent stay in hanoi. the staff was wonderful, offering amazing tours at the best prices. the breakfast buffet was delicious and the view of the cathedral was stunning.

I've stayed here twice, great staff, especially Ruben. Breakfast is good. Must-see attractions nearby: mausoleum, temples, French Quarter, lakes.

Who needs clean bathrooms and privacy anyway? No tables/hooks in the bathroom, no towel provided, curtains are transparent, and everything is dirty.

The location was perfect, an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. It felt like being in a forest with a view of the cathedral. The place is new, clean, and well-organized. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was amazing, with a buffet that even let me enjoy it on the day I arrived.

Felt truly looked after, no complaints.

Located in a prime spot, right next to the stunning Hanoi Cathedral. I felt safe and secure with the 24-hour reception desk. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a variety of fresh fruits, breads, and eggs. The hostel itself was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a great atmosphere for socializing with other travelers. I highly recommend this hostel for budget-friendly and enjoyable accommodation in Hanoi.

The thin curtains in the beds didn't offer much privacy or block out light from other guests. Additionally, the lack of tables or hooks in the bathroom made it difficult to keep my belongings clean and organized.

We had an amazing time at Drift Backpackers! The location was perfect for exploring the city and the breakfast spread was delicious. The staff, especially Pedro and Candy, were incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite a few minor issues with the cleanliness and privacy in the dorms, overall I would definitely recommend this hostel.
