I had an incredible stay at this amazing location! Hahaland provided great facilities, including a fun waterpark and a comfortable terrace with stunning sunset views over the river. the owners were lovely and even offered to drive us to the bus station. the accommodation was clean and cozy, and we were allowed to use all facilities throughout the day after check out. the climate by the river was much nicer than in town, making it a perfect spot to relax. the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly and helpful. it was a super fun and vibrant hostel, perfect for meeting other backpackers.

A free water park and a fitness center? Well, I didn't expect that! The staff were nice too. Oh, and did I mention the free breakfast and WiFi?

Who needs comfy beds and a peaceful sleep anyway? The rats running around at night added some excitement to my stay.

Beds could be softer.

I stayed at Hahaland for a few nights during my road trip down south. The hostel had a great social atmosphere and provided free bikes for exploring the area. The pool table was a nice touch, and I enjoyed the water park, even though the weather didn't allow us to use it. The portion sizes from the food menu were generous, and the meals were delicious. The showers were hot, and I really appreciated the microfiber towels and clean linens. The beds were comfortable, and I liked that the top bunks had curtains for privacy.

For the value we paid, Hahaland exceeded our expectations. The room was basic but clean, and the staff treated us with utmost care and attention. They even went above and beyond by helping to retrieve my forgotten passport and sending it to my next destination.

Breakfast delights, and although it was delicious and filling, a small suggestion would be to ensure guests clean up after themselves in the bathroom. However, the staff did their best to keep it clean every day.

celebrated our anniversary in phong nha and hahaland was the perfect surprise. the owner went above and beyond, helping us with everything and making us feel at home. cozy cabins, free towels, and amazing breakfast. we loved the remote location and the friendly staff.
