The location is ideal for a relaxing countryside stay - it's quiet and safe. The rooms were lovely, comfortable, and clean. The basic amenities were all there, and the staff provided friendly and attentive service. The breakfast offered a variety of international food, and the salads were fresh and delicious. this hotel was perfect and offered great value for money.

From the comfortable beds to the beautiful gardens, everything was perfect. the location was peaceful and tranquil, making it the ideal place for a relaxing break. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I particularly enjoyed the a la carte menu at the hotel's restaurant - the food was delicious and the portions were generous, offering great value for money. the comprehensive breakfast buffet was also a highlight. Protea Hotel provided a fantastic stay in a stunning natural setting.

This place is surrounded by nature, making it perfect for nature lovers like us. We enjoyed taking walks and spotting birds and animals on our own. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with amenities provided. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the surroundings were well maintained. We also loved the peaceful outside seating area and the walk-in shower in our room.

The buffet dinner offered was slightly expensive, but the good quality food made up for it.

My first choice hotel in the Lusaka area. The service at Protea Hotel was exceptional, surpassing even that of more upscale hotels like Intercontinental and Radisson. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided fast service. The setting of the hotel was also beautiful, with cottages blending into the surrounding landscape and the presence of bush bucks roaming the grounds. The location was perfect, offering easy access to Lusaka while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was excellent. I also enjoyed the opportunity to observe the local wildlife and soak in the tranquility of Africa.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly professional and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even surprised our children with nightly treats of chocolate, which was a lovely touch. the customer service from all staff members, from the gardeners to the manager, was impressive. the lush surroundings provided a relaxing getaway and the food served was impeccable.

There were a few things that could be improved. the lunch and evening buffet lacked variety, especially in terms of international dishes and salads.

I had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The service standards here are excellent compared to other places I have stayed in Zambia. The staff are extremely friendly and provide fast service, much better than some upmarket hotels. The beautiful surroundings blend into the bush perfectly, with bushbucks roaming the grounds and even a tame kudu that wanders around. The hotel has a lovely pool, delicious food, and offers game drives. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible time during our romantic escape at this lodge. the beautiful gardens and the presence of wildlife made it a truly enchanting experience. the thatched chalets were not only picturesque but also very comfortable. We loved waking up to the sight of tame Bushbuck and Kudu joining us for breakfast. the breakfast itself was delicious and fresh, and the surrounding area was well maintained. Another advantage was the peaceful outside seating area where we could relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature.

The only downside was the limited dinner options. We were expecting a full menu but were offered only a buffet dinner.

I must say, the value for money at this hotel was great. The room was absolutely amazing, with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing break, surrounded by nature. And I have to mention the staff, who were wonderful and treated us so well throughout our stay.

The morning meal could use a bit more variety, especially when it comes to the breakfast options.
