I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's value for money. The prices were reasonable considering the central location in the city centre, making it convenient for exploring the central business district. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, and the basic amenities provided were satisfactory. Although the rooms felt small, the clever use of wallpaper created a cosy atmosphere, and the rooms on the lower floors offered a nice view. Additionally, having breakfast included was a great bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at Protea Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel had a modern and inviting atmosphere, and the room was always clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the attention to detail, with refreshments and bathroom supplies replaced regularly. The hotel's car park was also very secure. One of the staff members even went above and beyond by personally keeping and returning my misplaced passport. The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, and the staff took great care of us throughout our stay. We formed a bond with the dedicated staff in less than a week. We can't wait to stay at Protea Hotel again during our future visits to Lusaka.

Sankhulani in the restaurant was a delight, with his warm and bubbly personality, and he always had a joke ready. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of everything.
