If checking in outside of official hours, guests need to contact the owners in advance for check-in details as there is no 24/7 reception. due to the wooden installations, noise from footsteps on the upper floors can be heard at times.

Mathilda, the host, was friendly and offered invaluable tips about the city and country. The dorms were spacious with room for luggage, and the mattresses were impressively comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend staying here.

buff hostel in tirana was a pleasant surprise. the staff was super helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. the free breakfast was delicious and the location was convenient. exceeded my expectations!

Super comfortable beds and a warm welcome. the owners give great recommendations for what to see and where to eat. the hostel is in a great location, just a short walk to the main square and close to cafes, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. the facilities are impressive with lockers, laundry, an exceptional breakfast, and keys for easy access.

The shower door in the outside bathroom didn't lock, so there were only two showers that felt secure to use. This could be a problem when the hostel is busy.
